Google Nexus 5 running Android KitKat leaked

Yes, another “bar leak”, and we’ve learned to love these. The LG-made Google Nexus 5 has been present in the headlines for quite some time, with or without the Android 4.4 KitKat mention. The images above and below allegedly depict the upcoming phone; they were purportedly snapped at a bar where a Google employee was, according to the report, clumsy enough to leave it charging unsupervised.

As you can see, we’re definitely looking at a pre-production/prototype unit. We’re also getting a glimpse at what appears to be the boot up animation. While said employee might have left it unattended, he was definitely smart to lock the device down (for which we might have applauded him on a regular day, but not today). The videos below aren’t very telling, but nonetheless, claim to show the upcoming device off.
