Join us for our Google I/O Editorial Roundtable at 4:00 PM Eastern
Google I/O has proven to be the company’s most epic event of each and every year. Google is definitely a software company at heart, and this is the show floor for the future of Google’s software vision. This has also proven to be a key event for product launches, in some cases hardware related, but where software-related launches never miss a spot. As such, Android M is definitely going to be a key product that we’re looking forward to, and the amount of rumors surrounding it is substantial.
When it comes to hardware, we have seen a couple of Nexus tablets being launched at this event over the last few years, and even Google’s Chromecast, but oddly we haven’t heard any rumors on the topic. This time it’s all about Nexus smartphones, and we make this plural because we expect two phones to be exact.
Google’s press event starts today, Thursday, May 28th, 9:30 AM Pacific, 12:30 PM Eastern, and we do expect Google to live stream the it as it always has. Once the event is done, please join our Editorial Roundtable as we give you our first impressions of everything that happened at Google I/O 2015. We’re planning to go live one hour after the keynote finishes, so keep an eye on this post as we update the it with more information.
You can tune in to watch us comment on news in real time, as usual, in a live, public (but closed) hangout.
Update 1: We’re going live at 4:00 PM Eastern. This post will be updated when we go live.
