Google feed to split between the Upcoming and the now

Google is rolling out an update to its app on Android and will soon do the same on iOS.

One big change coming our way is the fact that the Google feed (neé Google Now) will be split apart into a news “Feed” for current events and weather and an “Upcoming” tab for personal updates like travel, attractions and calendar events.

The Feed will also feature a new card for US users that lets them specify topics on which they’re interested in seeing more updates on.
