Samsung Galaxy S7 launch not happening this year?

Confused? Just yesterday we wrote a news piece regarding recent speculation on Samsung’s upcoming flagship device; the headline was “Samsung Galaxy S7 launch happening this year?” Today we’re writing a new one, with the headline you can see above. This is what usually happens when the rumor mill gets in motion. According to the Korean media, Samsung is pushing its R&D team with the Galaxy S7, because the company reportedly wants to make it official this year, instead of next.

Today’s information is just as shady and unreliable, and wants to debunk the aforementioned. An unnamed source cited by MobileBurn, who claims to be within Samsung’s Marketing team (not that decisions like these are being made at this level), had this to say: “The company remains committed to launching products in pre-determined launch windows, which includes the S series“. In plain English: Galaxy S7 will arrive at/around MWC 2016.

Leaving the dueling rumors and reports aside, let us know what you think Samsung should do.
