Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy S6 update brings some Galaxy S6 edge+ features

Samsung announced the Galaxy S6 edge+ on August 13 (together with the Note 5), and the manufacturer also equipped it with some additional features. Some still believe that the Edge Screen is still not mature enough to justify its existence beyond showing off the ability to manufacture it, but that’s another topic. Opposed to the S6 edge, the S6 edge+ also brings an Apps Edge in addition to the People Edge, where you can basically pin favorite apps, just like contacts, to the side of your screen.

That feature is now also available to Galaxy S6 edge users as well through a software update that’s being rolled out in South Korea and other European markets (UK confirmed). However, this is not the only feature that makes its way to the smaller device. Since the Galaxy S6, S6 edge, and S6 edge+ have a lot in common, it was just a matter of time until the new features made their way to the older devices as well.

The Galaxy S6 update (and the S6 edge update) we’re talking about also brings Samsung Pay, an UHQ upscaler, as well as Vacuum Tube Amp Pro option for improved audio, in addition to some refreshed icons and improved user interface.
