There was a moment where we’d suspect that the upcoming Galaxy Note 7 would be getting two cameras on the rear. It’s been a trendy thing to include on this year’s big flagships, why not continue that trend through the fall?

Well, it seems that with a component listing on Zauba, an Indian import-export database, may prove those hopes unfounded.

Several camera components said to be for the “SM-N930F” have actually come through the site, rating the sensors’ resolution at 12 megapixels. The listing mentions OIS. Physical image stabilizing hardware has been considered incompatible with dual-camera hardware, given that high-precision, equalized stabilization for two sensors would be hard to provide.

A few listings above and we find another palette of Galaxy S7 camera sensor units, also 12-megapixel and also having OIS. We might be able to deduct that the devices share camera components and that we should see an f/1.7 aperture on the Note 7.

The selfie shooter for the Note 7 has also been spotted with what may be a 1/4.5″ sensor at 5 megapixels.
