Microsoft, Japanese operator KDDI and Fujitsu-Toshiba have announced the first Japanese Windows Phone (and the world’s first Mango-phone), the IS12T at the end of July and it looks like the phone will be launched on August 25.

Approximately one month after its announcement, the first Windows Phone running Mango will be available in Japan, according to the carrier. August 25 will be the first launch day and it will go all the way to August 27, depending on the country region.

As a reminder, the IS12T features a Qualcomm MSM8655 CPU, 32GB of internal memory, 3.7-inch WVGA screen, 13.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi b/g/n and sensors.
