HTC’s One M8 for Windows may be a few months old by now, but it’s experiencing a burst of popularity lately thanks to its greatly expanded availability, with the smartphone coming to both AT&T and T-Mobile. If you’ve still been on the fence about picking one up, HTC’s got a new offer to help sweeten the deal a little, hooking new shoppers up with a free Dot View case to complement their smartphone.

Here’s the skinny: buy a One M8 for Windows between the first of November and the end of January to qualify for your free Dot View case in Xbox green. Then hit up the online registration tool (linked-to as our source below), enter in your personal details and your phone’s IMEI, and HTC will get that Dot View case out to you in six to eight weeks.

Unsurprisingly, the deal’s US-only, and while it would have been nice for HTC to make this available even for customers who bought their One M8 for Windows handset last month, it’s still a nice offer for what it is. After all, those Dot View cases still go for the kinda-steep price of $50, so you’re getting a solid value for absolutely nothing – hard to say no to that. And with this deal extending through the new year, keep it in mind if you happen to snag a One M8 for Windows as a holiday gift – because you’d hate to forget to redeem this free stocking stuffer while the offer’s still around.
