If you like exploring the world in which you are living in and you do it with your Android smartphone then Foursquare is one of your must-have applications. It just got updated to version 2011.07.05 to bring a neat feature called Notification Tray.

If you fire the new version up after installing or updating you’ll notice a new button in the top right corner. Tapping it will bring up the Notification Tray which will display alerts about activities such as comments, points, friend invites and so on. The Settings page has also been revamped to bring more options you’ll find on the webpage settings and there’s a new option in Settings for clearing your search history. Grab the update from your Android Market or by following the link below.
