Exclusive: Windows Phone 7 Email Client Comparison (Video)

In this video we compare the email client of Windows Phone 7 with that of iPhone and Android 2.2. Please keep in mind that the WP7 device shown here (which is an LG Panther) does not represent final Windows Phone 7 hardware or software. Email is a critical function of any smartphone operating system, and fortunately, it seems that Microsoft has a good handle on the situation for Windows Phone 7. The email client is fast and productive, although it’s lacking in some key features like HTML support, unified inbox, and advanced display settings (it’s possible these features could be included in a final version). It allows you to quickly multi-select messages and perform many actions at once, which is difficult on the iPhone. Also, you can choose to view your email by all, unread, flagged, etc, which is a unique feature among all smartphone email clients.
