Good news for those of you toting a European original HTC One (or One M7, if that’s how you’d like to call it): the European HTC One M7 Android 4.4.3 update has been approved by HTC and is now rolling out to users, starting in areas like Romania and Slovakia.

The Android 4.4.3 update includes the security fixes from Android 4.4.4, so you need not worry that you aren’t running the latest version of Android after taking the update yourself. This update will more than likely be one of the One M7’s last ever, though it’s certainly possible (and some might even say likely) that it will receive the Android L upgrade in Fall 2014.

The update weighs in at around 550MB, and is the software version 6.09.401.5. Additional enhancements have been made to the One M7, such as within the Camera, Settings, Gallery, and BoomSound apps.

If you don’t have the update now, sit tight as it could take a few days to make it to your One M7 unit. It’s likely US carrier-branded units will be the next to make the leap in just a few short weeks — anyone desperately waiting to have their One M7 device running the latest and greatest in Android?
