Dropbox for Windows Phone finally available as “app-gap” becomes narrower

There was a lot going on in Windows Phone-land (as of January 21, just Windows-land) with Microsoft introducing Windows 10 as a unified platform across different devices with different form factors. However, one of the applications that were missing from the Windows Phone store (which, together with others, made up the so-called “app gap”) was Dropbox.

Said “app gap” just got smaller as Dropbox for Windows Phone has been officially introduced by the company (those rocking Windows tablets will also be able to grab it). It is a full fledged application on par with its Android and iOS counterparts, bringing automatic back up of your photos to Dropbox, as well as all the other features you love about the service. If you have a Windows Phone powered by version 8 or higher, you can go ahead and download it from the source below. If you’re signing up just now, you’re getting 2GB free.
