Why does it seem like the DROID Turbo phones can’t seem to get good software fast enough?

It took just until today for last year’s DROID Turbo 2 on Verizon to nab Wi-Fi Calling. The feature’s contained within software update 24.31.22 and must be activated within the “Advanced Calling” section of the settings.

Motorola plans on loading Android Nougat onto the major Moto Z phones this upcoming quarter. No ETA — if any — for the DROID Turbo 2, though it took more than six months for it to get Marshmallow. That would be the software update we’d look for.
