Join us as we kick off our next review series by unboxing the Dell Streak Android tablet device! Some of our recent Android coverage has been of smaller form factor devices. We now take it to the opposite spectrum by looking at the largest Android phone to date.

The Dell Streak is a combination of a phone and tablet that is graced with the Android operating system. Devices like the HTC EVO 4G have gained a large following due to its large 4.3″ screen size. The Dell Streak takes the cake with a screen measuring 5″. Will this large, Gorilla-glass screen make the device easier to use? Or, will it get in the way, causing the device to be cumbersome and unable to fit in the pocket?

The Streak will become available on the AT&T network in the near future. But, until then, get the low-down here at pocketnow!

If you’re interested in the Dell Streak it can be purchased now over at Negri Electronics for $968.

Be sure to stay tuned as we progress through our series on the Dell Streak device, and, hear our final review.
