At CES 2018, the Eureka Park section of the Sands Exposition Center was dedicated to startups and crowdfunding projects big and small. Some were sponsored by national chambers of commerce while others were given money by the consumers they were already targeting.

We took a look at two such campaigns: a modular smartwatch re-do; and a revival of an old product form factor with two operating systems. Planet Gemini is bringing Android and Linux to a PDA with a fold-out keyboard while BLOCKS is back it in 2018 after taking feedback in 2017 on its original product.
