Come January 1, there will be a pretty significant behind-the-scenes change here at Pocketnow. For the first time since 2002, I will no longer be involved in the day-to-day operations of Pocketnow, and I will no longer be Editor-in-Chief. It is with mixed emotions that I make this announcement. Pocketnow is in my blood (literally, as my brother was a co-founder back in 2000) and for many years now it’s been a huge part of my life. I’ve been so incredibly fortunate to have worked closely with the team here, all of whom I consider my friends. And of course, it’s been an honor to create content that you guys, the readers, have enjoyed.

This video explains the circumstances of this change, and also announces that your new Editor-in-Chief is a person who I respect tremendously and that has earned the right to lead Pocketnow to greater growth: Anton D. Nagy. For the past couple of years, Anton has been the glue that holds the site together as Managing Editor. And now, he’ll take those skills and couple them with his vision on building Pocketnow into a top media outlet, and will usher Pocketnow into the next phase of its growth.

What about me? Well, I’ll still be around, helping Anton, and also contributing reviews occasionally and participating in the podcast, among other things. I’m not going to disappear: I love Pocketnow, and I want to make sure it succeeds.

As usual, you can keep a pulse on what I’m up to by following me on Twitter.
