Carl Zeiss has rebranded itself to ZEISS for better brand recognition and consistency. Those who are fans of photography, or high-end Nokia phones, already know Carl Zeiss. The camera-lens-maker (and not only) published the company decision on its own blog, also giving examples on how the brand will appear on future products.

Interestingly, an early Nokia EOS (or Elvis, or Lumia 1020, or Nokia ZOOM, we don’t know, really) leak has featured the new name. As seen above, the purported back of the upcoming 41-megapixel phone, to be unveiled in July 11, wears the “PureView ZEISS” branding. If nothing else, this bit of information lends even more credence to leaks we’ve seen, but everything will become clear in less than two weeks.
