The BlackBerry Bold 9900 was recently popping up on Vodafone’s database and there was enough room for speculations and fantasizing about what it would look like.

Now there are some new bits of info which are to be classified under the Rumor category. First of all, the BlackBerry 9900 will allegedly be a touch-screen enabled BlackBerry Bold 9000. Adding this to the already popular form factor will somehow generate the idea that this device, codenamed BlackBerry Montana – a revived Magnum/Dakota project – will inherit the popularity and success of the Bold 9000. Nothing more is known about the Montana at the moment.

On the other hand, the BlackBerry Monaco (remember the LG Monaco which might have been among the first Windows Phone 7 devices?) is the codename rumored for the BlackBerry Storm 3, which was, for a long time, considered the successor to the BlackBerry Storm 2, with a refresh that would have brought mobile hotspot feature along with BlackBerry 6 operating system.

While, again, these two codenames are still under the R category, a touch-screen BlackBerry codenamed Montana, built on the Bold 9000 form factor would most definitely raise a few eyebrows while the Storm 3 – codenamed Monaco – would be a nice addition to the Storm family.
