BlackBerry announces Z30

Referring to the brand new Z30 as the company’s “biggest, fastest and most advanced smartphone”, BlackBerry has officially unveiled its latest phone today. It runs BlackBerry OS 10.2, and some of you might know if as the A10, a device which was rumored all summer long.

The Z30 packs a five-inch Super AMOLED display with 720p resolution (1,280 x 720), and is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.7GHz. Helping the CPU is an Adreno 320 GPU as well as 2GB of RAM. Internal storage is 16GB, with the ability to further expand it via a microSD card, and 4G LTE capabilities are also confirmed. Usual suspects include WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 as well as NFC, everything being powered by a 2,880mAh battery. The main camera is one of eight-megapixels paired with a 2MP webcam on the front.

There are no details, for the moment, regarding pricing and availability.
