Leak Shows-Off BlackBerry 10 N-Series With Hardware Keyboard

For the last couple weeks, we’ve been seeing pic after pic of L-series touchscreen-only BlackBerry 10 hardware. It was great to get an early look at the handset, but after seeing that some model pop up over and over, we were hankering to take a gander at its hardware-QWERTY cousin, the N-series, set to arrive a few weeks after the L-series lands early next year. It looks like our patience has paid off, and now an internal RIM video has provided the screen shots that make for our first good look at the N-series.

The full video had been available just a little earlier (apparently due to its editor mistakenly making it public), but it looks like RIM got on top of things, as it’s no long accessible. Even with that gone, its screenshots do a great job showing-off the N-series. Even with that rather large 720 x 720 display, the phone clearly keeps to a very traditional BlackBerry form factor, which could be key to keeping users interested in the platform as it transitions to BB10.

Sure, this seems to consist of phone renders, rather than shots of physical hardware, but it’s official enough for now. There’s plenty of time for some in-the-flesh pictures to arrive over the next few months.
