It’s been a few months since Huawei subsidiary Honor planted its retail foot in the United States. It did so with the Honor 5X, this year’s strike in the mid-range sector. But as with all Chinese brands struggling to gain recognition in this country, it’ll need major retail trade winds at its head.

Enter Best Buy as it has decided to pick up the Honor 5X for sale at 590 of its stores starting June 19 and online right now. It still comes in gray, silver and gold, it’s still $199.99 and it still comes unlocked.

We’re nowhere talking about the Honor V8 or the Honor 8 coming stateside, but you know what, progress comes like a tortoise — slow and steady wins the race.
