Pocketnow Insider: Taylor’s best app finds of 2013 (Video)

There’s no denying 2013 was an impressive year on the software side of things. Both Android and iOS underwent major UI overhauls, and both the respective application catalogs broke the 1 million application mark.

Back in January, the App Store was growing by approximately 20,000 applications per month. It’s reasonable to suggest that number has since doubled, since the App Store was at 900,000 apps in June and hit 1,000,000 by late October. It’s also not unlikely that Android’s rate of growth is even higher, considering it caught and surpassed the App Store this year alone.

Sifting through the hundreds of thousands of new applications and displaying all the great ones is an insurmountable feat in itself. Instead, I’ve rounded up all the best applications I found last year. Check out the video, and leave your best apps of 2013 in the comment section below!
