Probably one of the biggest disappointments of owning any smartphone from a carrier, is how long it’ll take all of us to enjoy software updates. The fact that there is an additional middleman between you and your latest and greatest Android experience can be frustrating, and still, we have seen some dramatic improvements this year. HTC is one of the companies that’s done significant improvements in this manner, and today we get more good news.

If you’re currently rocking the HTC One M7, which is one of the smartphones that we most praised last year, you’ll love the fact that HTC is giving it great treatment when it comes to software updates. The company has just launched its Sense 6 update for Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint recently, and if you’re on AT&T, you should be getting your update today.

This would pretty-much leave the One M7 at the same level of software capabilities with the HTC One M8, so it’s great to know that regardless if you’re using one-year-old hardware, the software is looking better than ever.
