AT&T GoPhone brings Kyocera Hydro SHORE to Walmart
Add “waterproof” to almost anything in tech and you probably would not get much of a complaint. Now add in the value component: are you going to be able to save money and keep liquids out of these circuits? Oh, and feel good about your purchase?
Well, if you’re living on a shoestring or just need a better burner phone for your needs, AT&T has a GoPhone for you. The Kyocera Hydro SHORE has Android 5.1, a five-inch display, is ingress rated at both IPX5 (water spray) and IPX7 (1m submersion for 30 minutes), and its touchscreen can be operated while wet. It runs on a Snapdragon 210, has 8GB of memory — expandable by up to 64GB through microSD — and 1GB of RAM.
Walmart.com and Walmart stores will have the phone at $79.99 starting tomorrow, July 16.
What, Kyocera? No soap-washable phones for us?
