Microsoft’s Windows Phone event in New York City this past Monday was quite the spectacle. From the performances, to the smartphones on-hand, there was more than enough to keep us busy. While the event was more about general promotion of the operating system, it did create the opportunity for us to learn a little more about one handset’s release plans, putting a price tag on the HTC Titan. What we still didn’t have was a release date. Today that last mystery has been resolved, with AT&T revealing the Titan will arrive for retail sales on November 20.

Considering the Titans available at the NYC event didn’t show any AT&T branding, along with the fact that no release date had yet been mentioned, and we were starting to grow concerned that it still might be some time before the phone found its way to the carrier. While we still have a couple weeks to go, the additional wait is not nearly as inconvenient a situation as it might have been.

The big-screened 4.7-inch Titan will sell for about $200 on-contract. If you’re itching for a current-gen Windows Phone handset, but would rather not drop so much cash on it, AT&T also has the Samsung Focus Flash for only $50.
