Sprint finally showed up to the Windows Phone 8 party about a month ago, announcing both the HTC 8XT and the Samsung ATIV S Neo. At the time, the carrier wasn’t ready to divulge just when each of these phones would become available. In the time since, we’ve seen the carrier announce a date for the 8XT, and even get started with sales. All the while, the situation’s been quiet for the ATIV S Neo. We still don’t have any official word, but a new leak may finally fill us in on when this handset will first go up for sale.

According to this, Sprint expects to make the ATIV S Neo available on August 16, three weeks from this coming Friday. The carrier already announced pricing for the WP8 smartphone, going for $150 on-contract and after rebates.

The ATIV S might be the most interesting phone mentioned here, but it’s not alone. The BlackBerry Q10 is seriously late, but it’s still nice to see that Sprint intends to get it on August 30, before selling in-store a couple weeks later. That red HTC One on August 16 sounds pretty nice, too.

Have any Sprint WP fans been holding out for the ATIV S Neo to arrive, or did this one just take too long for its own good?
