Contrary to what we’ve been hearing since April that Apple will launch its next-generation iPhone in September, going international in October, recent reports seem to indicate that the phone will indeed come one month late, in October.
All Things D cites a trusted source who claims knowledge about Apple’s plans. According to these, the iPhone 5 (4S or whatever it will be called) will be unveiled in October. Depending on sources cited, it could be beginning of the month or late October. Until anything official comes out of Cupertino, which is not likely, we need to file this info too under the “R” category.
