Apple Watch holiday sales magic number stands at 6 million

Analysts were setting up the expectations for Apple to make a killing this holiday season. And indeed, a couple of Apple products have taken the cake for the whole of online Black Friday sales this year. But while the Apple Watch is expected to lead the way for wearables for the next while, we weren’t expecting a hot holiday forecast from Apple’s troubled smartwatch coming this iteration around.

It seems that the yuletide does raise all boats as FBR Capital Markets reported on Friday to investors that the Apple Watch is slowly gaining “momentum in the field over the last few months.” Target, Best Buy and Apple Store shoppers have shown more consideration toward buying an Apple Watch.

It’s doing better than all other smartwatches out there right now, but 6 million sales over the past six months could now turn over to an estimated 5 to 6 million sales for the three months of holiday shopping.

At this point, we could welcome you into the home stretch of things.
