Apple TV: more content, more Siri, more iOS-like

It’s 5,000 apps strong and counting. With a whole ton of Apple content (including the exclusive NCAA March Madness games). Of course, we’re also talking games and other apps, but it’s all powered by Siri on tvOS. She’s getting some more commands and powers with an update.

Folders come into play, like on iOS, so that you can better organize your apps. Dictation comes onto the scene so you can say what you want to search for and even yell out your username and passwords. Also, Siri can now help you search the App Store.

Finally, CEO Tim Cook announced dozens more content partners like PBS and NBC, with even more to come.

All of this gets packaged as a free software update and will head out starting today.
