Even though iOS 9 is all over the news lately, it doesn’t mean that Apple isn’t going to focus on its products before the fall. We know that iOS 8.4 beta has been in the test bench for the last couple of weeks, and Apple’s new music app revamp is just part of the story. Today we learn more about the service to come.
Apple has just pushed iOS 8.4 beta 4 to developers, and everything points to this being the OS update that will serve Apple’s new music service next month. The company’s new music app is not only included in this beta, but there are also other audio enhancements being pushed with this particular update. Audiobook playback through Apple’s CarPlay service is one of the new features included, and we also notice that the iBook Author textbook support for iPhone also makes the cut.
Apple Music is slated to reach consumers on June 30th, so make sure you keep an eye on this particular update if you’re interested in the three-month trial.
