Apple Releases iOS 4.3 Two Days Early

This is interesting. It’s certainly not March 11th today, yet Apple’s March 2nd keynote promised iOS 4.3 for that date. Anyways, we won’t complain. Apple has just rolled it out to the masses, so if you’re on the list of people that is dying to try some Personal Hotspot sharing, enhanced AirPlay features, iTunes’ improved home sharing services, and even some faster Safari browising through the new Nitro JavaScript engine included, just plug in your iPhone to your computer and have it check for the update. Keep in mind that the update won’t work unless you’ve updated iTunes tu version 10.2.1.

Sadly this is the end of the road for devices like the iPhone 3G and the second generation iPod Touch in what pertains to official updates, but you know it’ll only be a matter of time before a Jailbreak gets this part solved for you if you choose to keep the devices. Speaking of hacking, remember this will remove any sort of Jailbreak and carrier unlock from your iPhone if you’re currently relying on it, so just stay away from the update and stay tuned as we keep you posted for when that becomes live.
