Apple’s iPhone has started to gain a lot of terrain and market in the so far RIM-dominated business segment and Cupertino is pushing it even further by running a business-oriented full page ad in one of the most influential business magazines.

The back of The Economist features an entire page, pictured above, dedicated to the iPhone 4. The “Business-savvy” one-page ad lists a couple of applications like Bloomberg, The Economist, Cisco WebEx, Oracle Business Indicators, and iWork in addition to a powerful motto: “iPhone loves business. With over 425,000 apps, the best phone for apps just keeps getting better”. Does Apple have the power to dethrone RIM and take its crown away from the business world?
