Apple Music gets redesigned from “bottom up”

Apple Music’s user interface is changing for the simpler.

There are new sections for the app including Recent Music, For You and Browse.

For You contains a “Discovery Mix,” something like a “Discover Weekly” playlist for Spotify, a list of recently played music and daily curated playlists and albums for different styles and moods. One of today’s playlists? “Fasion Runway Strut”.

Browse brings you up to date with new tracks, new artists and top charts.

Radio brings you the Beats 1 stream, its schedule and a back-catalog recent marquee shows for the station. Personal stations are also here.

The “Now Playing” playback screen includes lyrics when available.
