Apple Maps is getting new features with iOS 14. New map rolled out earlier this year in the US. Now, UK, Ireland and Canada are getting the new design. You can now find great places to eat, shop, meet friends or explore in cities around the world. They automatically update when new places are added.

iOS 14 brings new ways to get to these places. It includes environmental options like public transit and walking. The new update brings cycling navigation. It includes cycling directions along bike lanes. It takes elevation into account. Further, you can see if your route includes quite or messy roads. You can pick to avoid stairs all together. It’s rolling out to New York, San Francisco , Shanghai and Beijing.

Another new feature coming to Apple Maps is EV routing. It tracks your current amount of power left and give you routes that offer compatible stations, and also take into account elevation and other elements to ensure you have enough juice to get there. Drivers in China will know what days they can drive based on their license plate number.
