Apple isn’t about to end its announcements roll – over the past 24 hours, the company has come out with an updated 27-inch Retina iMac, as well as some changes to its 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro lineup. And while this latest announcement, a new Apple Lightning dock, doesn’t quite come with the hype those other two items bring, we’re sure certain iPhone 6 and 6 Plus users will be quite pleased to learn of its existence.

This particular dock works with both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, and should be relatively case-friendly, too. That’s right – both the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhones can fit into the same dock in a relatively snug manner. While it’s likely that those who have wanted a dock for the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus have already opted into a third party option, if you’ve been holding out for some reason, this official Apple-certified dock may not be the wrong direction to take.

The dock is available now for a hefty $39 from Apple’s online store. Unless you’re looking into purchasing an official Apple model specifically, a third-party option may serve its purpose more effectively for the price, but this unit definitely represents the safest buy of the bunch. Ship times are between 1 and 3 days as of right now.
