Juan was on the ground early in the morning to check out the crowd outside the Apple Store out in Pasadena California, and he was featured on almost every single news outlet in the greater LA metro area. iPhone launch days are always media events, and the folks at AT&T were kind enough to open a store early for us to play with the new iPhone 7 before our pre-ordered matte black phone arrived.
Of course, today is not just a day to brag about being on TV, today is when we finally start playing with Cupertino’s latest and greatest. The iPhone 7 won’t shock anyone with its design, landing almost identical lines and shape when compared against last year’s iPhone 6S. Instead, this year Apple focused on refining the iPhone, and playing catch up on features like water resistance and image stabilization on the camera. We’ll be running this phone hard during our review period, but until we can share actual experiences and results, here are our first impressions on the iPhone 7!
