Apple and Samsung Get Two Days To Settle On May 21 and 22

The ongoing courtroom battles between Apple and Samsung need no introductions. The titans are facing each other in lawsuits all across the world but it appears that under pressure from United States District Court for the Northern District of California Judge Lucy Koh, the two companies agreed to settle.

Magistrate Judge Joseph C. Spero, who will oversee the settling process, has scheduled two days for meetings: May 21 and 22, 2012, starting at 9:30 AM, in San Francisco. Spero asked the two companies to provide a settlement statement no later than May 9 with “a candid evaluation of the parties’ likelihood of prevailing on the claims and defenses”. The settlement talks which could very well put an end to the entire drama will be at the CEO and their chief lawyers’ level.
