The Apple suing Samsung saga continues after Cupertino filed a lawsuit against the Korean smartphone manufacturer claiming the Samsung devices are copying the iPhone design — even adding some more Sammys to the list which is now 25 devices long.

According to recent information obtained by Reuters, at last Friday’s hearing Cupertino lawyer Harold McElhinny said that “executives at the highest levels” are meeting and talking. Having high level company managers from both sides sitting down at the table and trying to resolve issues out of the court could very well be an early indication of a settlement to come. Apple was one of the largest customers of the Korean manufacturer getting parts for its various hardware from Samsung. A settlement in a situation like this would not only benefit both parties but the market itself.
