With the wildfire spread the Android One project in India, Asia and Europe, you might be forgiven for thinking that a project focusing on spreading affordable stock-Android hardware making entry into one of the world’s richest countries would be a ridiculous idea. Well, not all of the country is Dubai and even without the recent price dive in the country’s cash crop of oil, there would still be people looking for a fresh, yet unobtrusive smartphone. That’s where the Infinix HOT 2 comes in.

Mind you, Infinix is actually bringing the HOT 2 in from its Android One implementation in the six African countries it’s involved in. You can check out the device’s specs by clicking through to that article. It’s retailing at the source link below for what we assume to be an introductory price of AED 299 (81 USD as of this post), an AED 100 discount. The retailer is only selling the 1GB RAM model.
