A beta update came in from Apple today, now it’s Google’s turn for one.

The Nexus 5X and 6P as well as the Pixel C have received a beta level Developer Preview of Android 7.1, the version of the mobile OS that ships with the Google Pixel. Since 7.1 is already final on the Pixel phones, this preview will serve mostly as a weed-whacker mission per device as well as a petri dish for app developers in tweaking their products for the update.

Flashable images are available as of this post for the three devices at this point, though the Nexus 6, 9 and Player as well as some Android One phones have previously been mentioned as eligible for the preview. Those on the Android Beta Program will have OTA updates on the way soon, if not already.
