We’ve been covering the developer preview builds of Android N in close detail, but today we get our first look at the update which will be pushed out to consumers.

A whole list of improvements are coming to Android, addressing usability and ergonomic problems. This update is also focused on bringing stock Android up to speed on a number of features we’ve come to appreciate from manufacturer skins like Touchwiz and Sense on Samsung and HTC devices.

Just about every part of the UI has been addressed, from multi-tasking options, to the notification shade, and encryption to power management. While we wait for other manufacturers to start pushing out updates, and for the launch of the LG V20 and new Nexus phones, folks using current nexus devices can already start playing. For those of you waiting, here’s our first look at Android 7.0 Nougat!
