French carrier SFR has posted the table above containing information about updates for the phones it carries on its line-up. Of these, the Samsung Galaxy S 4 is expected to get Android 4.3 during next month, the S III and Note II during November/December, according to the carrier. Please note that we’re looking at specific carrier units from a certain country, so other regions, as well as unlocked phones, might receive it earlier (or later).

On a side-note, Samsung is estimated to spend $4.5bn in the last quarter of the year for marketing activities. The amount has been estimated by analyst Benedict Evans who looked at Samsung’s marketing figures since March 2009 in the chart below, and, to quote him, “if it repeats last year’s growth it’ll spend $4.5bn in Q4”. We also need to mention the fact that these numbers are not official numbers, and they refer to the entire giant called Samsung, and not just its mobile division.
