Android 4.3 is upon us. It’s no game-changer by any means, but it still has a number of interesting things to offer, and any Android fan worth his or her salt is going to be itching to try out this latest build. Google announced that updates would be on their way for the Nexus 4, old Nexus 7, Nexus 10, and the GSM Galaxy Nexus, but at least here in the US, tapping away at the “Check now” button on a Nexus 4, we haven’t seen any arrive just yet. We know it should only be a matter of hours, but if you just can’t wait, some Android 4.3 factory images have hit Google’s Android Developers site.

Sure, installing such images means wiping your device, but maybe you’ve been looking for an excuse to make a fresh start, or at least reconfigure the look-and-feel of your phone. That, or just backup your files first.

4.3 images have been posted for the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (both cell-enabled and WiFi), GSM Galaxy Nexus, and the Nexus 10. Now you just have to find out how patient you really are: will you wait for your update, or are you already clicking over to those download links?
