Amazon will see Newegg, Best Buy or T-Mobile’s extended Black… Weeks, and raise them 35 days of Black Friday Shopping. That’s right, the e-commerce giant is promising “new deals as often as every five minutes – now through December 22.”

The goal of this super-prolonged sales event? To help customers “shop anywhere, any time, and any way, especially during the five super popular days for online shopping running from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday”, according to company bigwig Steve Shure.

So, yeah, the best and most deals will still go down in the “Turkey 5” days between Thursday, November 24, and Monday the 28th. But it’s probably wise to keep your eyes peeled for a multitude of deeply discounted items, ranging from electronics to toys to fashion items, getting their markdowns on “various dates and times” over the next 35 days.

Case in point, the Fire HD 6 tablet is already up for grabs at $50, not $70 or $100, with coupon code “FireHD6.” A number of other homebrewed Amazon gadgets are due instant rebates soon enough, including the Fire Kids Edition slate (to be priced at $75 instead of $100), Kindle and Kindle Voyage e-readers ($50 and $170 respectively after $30 cuts), the Fire TV media streamer ($75 from $90), and Tap smart speaker ($90 from $130). Pretty exciting stuff, don’t you think?
