Amazon offers big savings on loads of unlocked phones, including Moto G4 Plus and Nextbit Robin

Who doesn’t love unlocked Android smartphones, especially those sold through official, authorized and trustworthy channels with valid warranties and fast, free nationwide shipping?

It pretty much goes without saying you’ll find plenty of compelling deals on such products from basically every OEM under the sun come Black Friday and Cyber Monday in a couple of months, but if you simply can’t wait that long, Amazon’s latest “48 hour Unlocked Event” has you covered.

The fire sale’s protagonists are fairly popular even when they’re not massively marked down, as the 4GB RAM/64GB ROM Moto G4 Plus, for instance, typically costs $300, setting you back just $250 for the next few hours.

Still too rich for your blood? Then maybe the slightly older, humbler 5.5-inch Alcatel Idol 3 at $100 ($40 off list) will pique your interest, sporting Full HD screen resolution, octa-core Snapdragon 615 processing power, 2GB RAM, and 4G LTE support on GSM networks.

Or how about the mint or midnight-coated Nextbit Robin, discounted from $400 to $300 to $200 once again, this time with the bargain price probably lasting longer? Meanwhile, you might have seen the OnePlus 2 going for $240 before, but not on Amazon, US warranty and all.

Finally, the non-Performance, non-Compact Sony Xperia X is $399 in cart, down from $480.
