It was just a couple weeks ago that we saw deals for the 16GB Moto X Pure Edition hit $300. That chunkier 64GB version got a steep drop down to $400 at one point. While we don’t have those prices anymore, we do have good news from Amazon while we’re taking on the 32GB version — it’s at its lowest price in five months.

As background, Motorola is now pricing the 16GB Moto X Pure Edtion at $349.99 for a limited time with the 32GB one near $400 and the 64GB edition at $450. Not a bad deal for the thrill seeker, all things considered. But Amazon — in keeping with Motorola — has followed in that pricing, but is offering a black 32GB Pure Edition for the same $349.99 that the 16GB versions are at. The Bamboo-backed 32GB Pure Edition takes over the $399.99 spot, $75 off what it would usually be.

Saving an extra 50 bucks may be worth the trade-off of your choice of color, be it Moto Maker or the black and white most resellers offer. Heck, even at a discount, you’re technically paying double the typical premium for that Bamboo back at Amazon than at Motorola et al.

You’ve been informed.
