Alcatel Onetouch Idol 3: hands-on (Video)

The first of Alcatel Onetouch’s MWC 2015 launches are upon us, as the company introduces the Idol 3 – or Idol 3s, as it were, since we’re looking at not one, but two new handsets: a 4.7-inch and a 5.5-inch model.

No matter which phone you choose, you’re going to end up with an affordable handset sporting some solid specs – a little more mid-range for the 4.7-inch Idol 3, and maybe a lower-high-end configuration for the larger phone.

Either way you go you’ve got Android 5.0 Lollipop (with some minimal skinning), and stereo front-firing speakers, which allow the phones to be used either rightside-up or upside-down – either way, you can still make calls.

But talk is cheap: let’s see these new phones in action! We went hands-on with the pair in Barcelona this weekend to share our experiences with you. Check ’em out:
