Alcatel brought its line-up to the US with the occasion of CES 2013 where it announced phones as well as a phablet, but the story doesn’t end there. The OneTouch EVO 7 tablet running Ice Cream Sandwich was announced in October of last year and the manufacturer took this opportunity to show it off, alongside the new OneTouch EVO 7 HD.

The EVO 7 features a seven-inch screen with WSVGA resolution of 600 x 1,024 pixels, a single-core CPU clocking at 1GHz, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage (expandable via microSD card), a VGA front-facer, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on-board.

The EVO 7 HD (pictured above) is more interesting though, with its seven-inch WXGA screen and 800 x 1280 resolution,  dual-core 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage (expandable), three-megapixel main camera, VGA front-facer, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the platform of choice. You can expect it around May and it will go for $179 for the WiFi version, $249 with a removable 3G module, or $349 with 4G.
