Acer’s On Board With Windows Phone 7
It turns out Acer is now on board to produce a Windows Phone 7 to be released later this year. We’re not sure if they decided this before or after the news of Nokia jumping in with Windows Phone 7, but as they say, a rising tide lifts all boats. According to Aymar de Lencquesaing, president of Acer’s Smart Handheld Business Group, Acer expects total shipments of smartphones to reach several million units for the year. The photo above is of the Acer F900 Windows Mobile 6.1 phone since we haven’t seen any concept art for an Acer Windows Phone 7 yet, but do you think Acer could come up with a nice hardware design for Windows Phone 7?
