Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Unboxing

Samsung’s tablets have evolved a lot, with the manufacturer continuously improving its offering (not at the pace of its smartphones, though); however, the South Korean manufacturer didn’t release anything new for quite some time, but that doesn’t mean that the manufacturer isn’t hard at work on its 2015 Samsung tablet line-up.

According to a recent report, the 2015 Samsung tablet line-up will contain at least four new slates, which will be part of the Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note family of products. The report also mentions some model numbers, with their respective monikers: Galaxy Tab AS, a smaller tablet, with models SM-T350/351, Galaxy Tab AL, with models SM-T550/T551, and Plus version for the aforementioned. The AS and the AL might follow-ups to the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 tablets.

The Plus versions of these tablets might fall in the Galaxy Note category, and, judging by the model numbers, SamMobile believes that these will be mid-range offerings. As for a timeframe, these slates are rumored to make an appearance this year (Q2 and Q4 are mentioned in the report).

Here’s the list of the model numbers in the report:

  • Galaxy Tab AS – – – SM-T351
  • Galaxy-Tab AL – – – SM-T551
  • Galaxy-Tab AS – – – SM-T350
  • Galaxy-Tab AL – – – SM-T550
  • Galaxy-Tab-AL Plus – – – SM-P551
  • Galaxy-Tab-AL Plus – – – SM-P550
  • Galaxy-Tab AS Plus – – – SM-P351
  • Galaxy-Tab AS Plus – – – SM-P350
